Season Summary
We finally reached Stockholm three days ago which took us about 24 hours from door to door. And when you try to maximize the last couple of days before heading into the final house cleaning, you get quite exhausted. Add to that a pretty heavy jet lag, after all it’s nine hours time difference.
However the last week in Whistler were nothing but great! The festival (WSSF) was epic with a whole lot of great music (Urban Cone, Dragonette, Felix Da Housecat) and all different kinds of spectacular events. We also saw one last bear before heading to our last dinner which we spent at Sushi Village. Definitely a worthy end of the season!

Even though I already miss Whistler a lot, it’s not too bad getting home to Sweden during this time of year. What we heard from all the friends back home was that we shouldn’t have any expectations though the spring been really poor so far. But fortunately it seems like we timed the spring quite all right. Waking up the first morning to 15 degrees and sunshine in the loveliest of countries was not too hard.
We now have one of the biggest highlights of the year in front of us - Valborg. It’s actually a quite lazy festival but good in party perspective I guess. Something that would have been really nice is to spend the weekend in Åre for some magical spring skiing, but since I barely have no energy left I was not even close to get there. It would have been a perfect way to end the season on since Åre is most likely the best place on earth by this time of year. Hopefully me and Karl will manage to get there the upcoming week for some days of touring at least, so the season may not be fully over yet.
However, the season was amazing from the very beginning to the very end. With 4.2 meters of snow in March and almost 14 meters in total during the season, you really can’t complain.

Thanks to the weather gods, all the friends and Whistler in itself, this season may have been the best time of my life - Thank you!
I will end this post with what I think was the best day of the season. Making drops is one of the best things I know, doing it alongside eight of your closest friends will without doubt be a memory for life.

Whistler Season 2011-2012
Just got home from Whistler village where we saw Dragonette doing a great performance. The track above was probably the best song that they played in my opinion - phenomenal!
We went to Meadow Sports Centre once again to play some squash. We had a great time and hopefully we’ll continue to play squash together when we get back to Sweden. Perhaps a interest that will last forever?
